I grew up in Bucks County, PA and moved to Delaware in 1991. I attended DTCC in Georgetown before heading upstate to University of Delaware in Newark. Once at UD, I studied Elementary and Special Education. I have worked for the Cape Henlopen School District since 1997 when I began teaching as a Special Educator at Lewes Middle School. Soon, I completed my Masters Degree in School Counseling at Wilmington University. I moved on to teach Middle School Science & Social Studies for 6 years while waiting for my dream job of school counselor to open up. In 2009, I was fortunate enough to become the school counselor at Mariner Middle School and I have not looked back. I love working with "the" Mariner Middle School family - students, staff, families, and community.
